This four-year professional degree, often known as B. Pharmacy (B.Pharm.), is divided into eight semesters and covers the study of pharmaceutical medications, dosage forms, therapeutic actions, and adverse effects. Students in this program study a variety of core subjects, including pharmaceutical chemistry (chemistry of medicinal compounds), pharmaceutics (manufacturing and dispensing of dosage forms), pharmacognosy (study of medicinal drugs obtained from natural sources), and pharmacology (how a drug affects the body and how the body affects the drugs). In addition to theoretical teaching, students of B.Pharm. are provided with actual practical training through laboratory experimentation and internships in pharmaceutical industries. • Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices.
• Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.
