Raaminder Singh, a student of the 2023–2026 batch, has made Amity University Punjab and the nation proud through his remarkable achievements on international platforms. He represented India and Amity University Punjab at the prestigious Global Youth Congress 2025, held at the ASEAN Centre, Bangkok, Thailand, where he was honoured with the title of Best Speaker. The conference brought together youth delegates from several countries to deliberate on global leadership, diplomacy, and sustainable development. Adding to his list of accomplishments, Raaminder also represented India at the Asia Pacific Youth SDGs Summit 2024 on the occasion of International Youth Day, organized under the aegis of the United Nations. In recognition of his impactful contribution towards sustainable development and youth engagement, he was conferred with the title of SDGs Inspiring Ambassador 2024. His achievements reflect Amity University Punjab’s commitment to nurturing globally aware, socially responsible, and future-ready leaders.

Student Achievement

Amity University Punjab proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Anusha Verma and Harleen Kaur Dhanda, students of B.A. Economics (Hons.), who won the Gold Medal in the Lawn Tennis Girls Category at URJA 2026, held at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. Adding to this proud moment, Anusha Verma was also honoured with the title of Best Tennis Player (Girls) for her exceptional performance and match-winning brilliance. Their achievement is a testament to Amity University Punjab’s commitment to excellence in both academics and sports.

Amity University Punjab proudly celebrates the achievement of Niharika, a student of B.A. + M.A. (Hons.) Economics, who secured 3rd Prize at the nationwide competition “Think Like an Economist 5.0” during AI Fest 2026, held at Chandigarh University on 19 February 2026. Her outstanding performance earned her a gift voucher worth ₹2 lakhs along with an internship opportunity at PHDCCI Chandigarh. The competition challenged participants to portray an economist, present their theory through a modern lens, and discuss its contemporary policy implications.

Student Achievement

Harsheen Kaur Dhadly, B.A. Economics (H) – 3 rd Year student secured 3rd position and won a cash prize at the XVII Young Economist Competition 2025, organised by the Christ University (Central Campus), Bengaluru on February 17, 2026 . It's a national level competition for economics students. She presented her research paper on Financial Inclusion and Gender Budgeting, where she depicted her analytical and conceptual understanding through her writing and presentation skills. As part of our Departmental academic achievements it was a celebratory moment for Economics and also Amity’s Scholarly excellence.
