In alignment with its vision of nation-building through quality education and nurturing socially responsible leaders, Amity University Punjab successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 10th February 2026. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response, resulting in the collection of 102 units of blood, significantly contributing to community healthcare needs.
The camp was organized by the Rotaract Club of Amity University Punjab in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Chandigarh Uptown, with active support from the Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity School of Business Administration, and the NIPM Punjab Student Chapter.
The event brought together students, faculty, and staff, all united by a common purpose—to make a meaningful difference in society. Medical professionals ensured that the entire process was conducted with the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and care. Participants were guided through proper screening procedures and were also educated about the importance of regular blood donation.
Beyond the act of donation, the camp served as a powerful platform to raise awareness about the critical role of voluntary blood donation in saving lives and strengthening public health systems. It also reinforced values of empathy, compassion, and civic responsibility among the university community.
Such initiatives reflect the unwavering commitment of Amity University Punjab towards community engagement, social responsibility, and holistic student development, inspiring young minds to contribute actively to the well-being of society.
